I just wanted to thank you for your website. I have a 6 year old cat named Chloe that I accidently backed over 3 weeks ago. I rushed her to the vet and found that she had a broken pelvis. He said he thought she would heal on her own and told us to make sure she kept eating, drinking and using the litter box. She just layed around the next day and groaned when I touched her so I stopped at my vet's office on my way home the next day to ask about pain medication. They gave me a bottle of Metacam and said to give it to her once a day. She seemed to be improving and I kept giving it to her daily as told. After 2 weeks I decided to slow down the dose and I noticed she was becoming increasingly lethargic. When I looked up Metacam and found your website, I was mortified. I couldn't get to the vet fast enough. Chloe has ARF and is on IV now. They aren't giving me much hope, but I ran over her with a car and she survived that!!! I am having a hard time dealing with the fact that I backed over her and now apparently I have caused her even greater pain. I thought I was helping her. Please pray for her. I know there is a reason I found your website and got her to the doctor. I refuse to believe she will not survive! Chloe is a survivor. I will let you know the outcome and thank you again.  Sincerely, Sue

HI!!  Just wanted to let you know that Chloe came home on Saturday afternoon. She drank on her own, but was not interested in ANY type of food. She did a lot of exploring and was very alert, so I decided not to try force feeding till the next day if she did not come around. Sunday morning when she got up, she went straight to her food bowl and started eating. I mixed half and half of regular food and Purina NF - both dry. She ate throughout the day and has continued to do so. Was worried about pooping, but she finally did that yesterday, so all is well. She is very skinny, moves slowly, and obviously is still recovering. No Sub Q fluids were recommended, but she is on a daily supplement called Azodyl for kidney function support. Blood test were recommended in a month. Does all of this sound ok? Feels so good to have my Chloe home:)    Sue
