My 8 yr. old standard poodle...Millie(f) was hospitalized and had a kidney removed ...and put on Metacam...They told me she was allright....on friday and saturday...and I could pick her up on Sunday....when I got there...she was laying in the back room...couldn't get up....the attendant picked her up and put her in my car....she died at my home about 7 hrs. later...they told me they had given her metacam...that morning...and me to give it to her every 24 hrs.  I should never have taken her from the vets...in that condition...but they said she was just in pain and would get over it... It's a sad case..
