Hello! My name is Rebekah Wow...I dont know
where to start. It hurts to write this as my little baby
girl cat did not make it after being given Metacam. I am
still in my stage of dispair in the grief process and hope to be
coming in to my angry stage soon where I can actually do something
about this. I wanted to contact you and see if you have any
words of wisdom for me. If only I had known about this drug.
I was given NO information, no consent, no nothing when given this
drug and I am the type of person that checks out everything!
How this slipped, I will never know. It wasnt until she was
in Kidney failure that I looked into it. The Vet continued
to ignore my daily (sometimes 4 times a day) phone calls. This is
a long story and I have formulated a very long letter to the
vet's office (this was before my sweet girl died) now it is too
difficult to look at but I want to hold them responsible if for no
other reason than to get them to start informing consumers of the
medications they are using with full trust. I could send
that letter to you....what do you think? I just wanted to
contact you for any thoughts you may have on the matter.
